A space or medium in which anyone can feel free to 'write'
as him or self, but publicly,
and without the constraints of spelling or of grammatical authority,
which arise only in texts that are drafted, redrafted, corrected, verified, etc. according to the criteria of various professions
such as author, broadcaster, editor, scientific peer, or whatever.
Those are not the first thoughts of someone,
not personal thoughts at all,
they are objectified and collectively approved words
that have passed the censors and the potential critics
enough to be allowed into every home and every mind
of the hopefully obedient public
who are to be protected and controlled
by ourselves
as paid guardians
of decency and academic truth
and all such fictions or courtesies.
They are written much more slowly
and in a very different way.

On the internet one can and one does write 'colloquially' fuck it
and it is this I believe that attracts many of us
and relieves us thankfully of the inhibitions
that otherwise make 'writing a book' such a difficult task.
