One exception to dull imagery was the sight of an imposed spiral pattern which kept re-arranging the digits of a photograph of something (it looked to me like an aircraft carrier, wildly distorted). A nice whirling dynamic image, though a bit repetitive, reminding me that once something is digitised its 'original form' loses much of its authority, or stasis.

From which we quickly learn the new convention that 'all conventions can be changed'.
