In my picture of the future
things are designed on the assumption that
everyone is gifted with immense skills, such as we all
exhibit in speaking, in listening to speech, in walking, or
in apparently simple everyday actions like putting a piece
of food into your mouth without looking. To get a computer
to do that is more than difficult because a machine needs a
limited language and a frame of reference before it can act
but people can act without one, making up the rules as they
go along.
Is that what we mean by creativity?
